We are pleased to announce that Forbes has recognized Newell Brands on its list of Best Employers for Women 2023, which was based on a sample of more than 40,000 women in the U.S. Additionally, Newell Brands Mexico has been acknowledged as one of the 2023 Top Companies for Women by Top Companies Mexico and Expansión. These awards demonstrate our continued commitment to diversity, inclusion and belonging and to making Newell a great place to work, grow and succeed.

To create their list, Forbes and Statista survey respondents gave their opinions about workplace topics, including atmosphere, development, image, working conditions, salary and diversity, and topics relevant to women, such as parental leave, family support, flexibility, discrimination, representation and pay equity for their employers. Similarly, TOP Companies and Expansión’s recognition of Newell Mexico was based on the number of women in leadership roles, benefits and policies.

RAY, our global Employee Resource Group (ERG) for women and allies, contributed to this recognition through their leadership and commitment to educational programming throughout the year. For example, during Women’s History Month, RAY hosted a weekly Women’s Leadership Panel series in which senior women leaders from Newell Brands discussed various topics related to career development, navigating challenges and work-life balance.

We are also committed to our female employees’ health and wellbeing and continue to improve our offerings in this area. In 2022, we made several enhancements to our family planning and reproductive health benefits for U.S.- based employees, including:

  • Increasing our parental bonding leave

  • Tripling our adoption reimbursement

  • Adding an annual surrogacy reimbursement benefit

  • Enhancing fertility benefits

  • Making reproductive health procedures eligible for reimbursement

We’re proud of the work we’re doing to foster an inclusive workplace for women and all of our employees at Newell. To learn more about our diversity, inclusion and belonging, read our 2022 Corporate Citizenship Report Together As One .
